Schematics for Vivo X Fold illustrate how the phone might be folded

Image: CHAT_STATION – Planned features, information, and even the phone’s name were leaked at the beginning of March, indicating that Vivo is working on a foldable phone.

With a schematic design proposal shared by a popular internet tipster, we may now have a better sense of what it will look like.

A quad-camera system on the back of the Vivo X Fold is reported to be comprised of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, and an extra 8-megapixel sensor for good measure. If the picture is to be regarded as read, they will be arranged in a circular pattern.

The graphic, which was posted by Digital Chat Station, also supports the notion that the phone would fold inwards, with an exterior front display holding a hole-punch camera. A rounded edge will also be present.

It is also said that there is no fingerprint sensor on the sides, which has led some to speculate that it may instead contain an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Aside from the fact that Samsung will be supplying the foldable display, which we believe to be between 8 and 8.2 inches in size, no further information has been released at this time.

Several months later this year, the Vivo X Fold is expected to be announced and made available in China for purchase.
