techno.rentetan.com – Navi is a fantastic addition to FaceTime. During FaceTime chats, have you ever wished for live subtitles? Navi, a companion software for FaceTime, allows you to use it on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac at the same time, making it easier to communicate with friends and family. Using Apple’s SharePlay function, the software provides you with real-time subtitles during FaceTime video conversations with your pals.

Live subtitles during calls may be a game-changer for those who have difficulty hearing. In the same way, non-native English speakers will greatly benefit from the subtitle function. Navi works well on both the iPhone and the Mac when it comes to making phone calls, so we gave it a go.

FaceTime calls may be subtitled in real time

Navigate to the FaceTime app and make an audio or video call. When using FaceTime on a Mac, you may turn on Navi’s subtitles by clicking the captions button in the app. Use SharePlay on the iPhone to get the most out of Navi. Remember that if you want to utilize SharePlay, you’ll need to upgrade to iOS 15.1 or above.

As long as you stick to basic English terms and don’t mix languages, subtitles are quite acceptable. That’s good enough for the vast majority of the population. Although non-native English speakers may note that Navi’s subtitles are less accurate because of their accents, they can use them just well.

At the time of this writing, the app was free to download and the live subtitles function was free to use, but that may change in the future. No friends or family members who speak any of the non-English languages that Navi supports were able to test the live translation function, but you can try it out and see how well it works for you and your foreign pals. Not to be confused with the Star Trek Universal Translator, Navi only provides subtitle translations into the language of your choosing.

Navi’s live translation service costs $3.99 for up to 100,000 characters and $14.99 for up to 250,000 characters and is available for a one-time fee only. If you exceed these character restrictions, you may purchase more translation tokens.
