How to Capture a Screenshot on an Apple iPhone 13

by -

techno.rentetan.com – Taking a screenshot on an iPhone had remained the same for generations of the device until to the arrival of the iPhone X in 2017. Simply pressing the power and home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds resulted in a screenshot being taken and stored in your gallery. This is still true for iPhones equipped with the Touch ID home button.

It’s a little different for iPhones with Apple’s Face ID and no home button, such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 12 models, and iPhone 13 models.

This wikiHow teaches you how to take a screenshot on the iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 models.

How to Capture a Screenshot on an iPhone

To capture a screenshot on an iPhone with Face ID, such as the new iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, press the Side and Volume Up buttons simultaneously.

When you press both buttons at the same time, an image of the screen is saved and a preview appears in the lower left corner. If you don’t want to modify or mark it up, simply swipe it away or do nothing, and a copy will be saved in your Photos app under the screenshots category as well as in your Library.

Markup

If you’ve already taken the screenshot but want to alter or touch it up in any way, tap on the preview picture in the bottom left corner of the screen.

You’ll see a lot of choices here, including a markup icon at the top that allows you to draw on the snapshot and make changes. A pen, marker, pencil, rubber, lasso for cutting out, and color palette are included. You may also use the ‘+’ sign to access other tools such as Text, Signature, a Magnifier, and preset shapes like as circles and squares.

You can also crop it, share it by pressing the Share symbol in the top right corner, or utilize the Live Text function by tapping the icon in the bottom right corner.

Saving and sharing are both good ideas

By clicking on ‘Done’ in the top left corner of the screen, you may save or remove the snapshot at any time. You may either Save to Photos or Delete Screenshot from this menu.

You may share the screenshot with others or save it to Files by pressing the Share icon and then selecting the appropriate service.

If you don’t want the screenshot after you’ve saved or emailed it, you may click ‘Done’ and erase it.

If you’re taking a screenshot of a Safari website, there’s a little trick you should know. We have a separate section on it that you can read about here, but in a nutshell, follow these steps to capture a full page snapshot of an entire webpage without scrolling:

Open the Safari web page you wish to capture a screenshot of > Hold down the Side Button and the Volume Up button at the same time > Tap the snapshot preview in the lower left corner of your screen > Select the ‘Full Page’ option > Tap the ‘Done’ button in the upper left corner > Select ‘Save PDF to Files’ > Choose where you want to save it and click the ‘Save’ button.
