techno.rentetan.com – Microsoft’s latest tablet is aimed at Apple, running Windows 11 and boasting all-day battery life. The Microsoft Surface is now available in its lightest and most portable form. The Surface Go 3 is a low-cost Windows 11 tablet that looks and feels like a mid-range Android tablet or a Chromebook designed for education. It costs $400 and weighs 1.2 pounds (similar to the last-generation Surface Go 2).

The Surface Go 3 comes standard with a dual-core Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y CPU and 4GB of RAM, with the option to upgrade to a quad-core Intel Core i3-10100Y processor and 8GB of RAM (though that model competes with more capable devices like the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2). Nonetheless, the Surface Go 3 is smaller than other Chromebooks with the same Core i3 processor.

The Surface Go 3’s major selling point is that it has all of the convertible magic of the previous Surface devices. The 10.5-inch touchscreen display has an adjustable kickstand and is compatible with the Surface Pen, allowing you to draw, write, and doodle as needed with compatible Windows programs. To type, you’ll need the TypeCover (which is available separately).

In addition, the Surface Go 3 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. Photographers may quickly insert an SD card into the inbuilt MicroSDXC card reader, and a Surface Connect connection is available for suitable adapters. If you choose the LTE model, the Surface Go 3 will also have a nano-SIM tray.

As we said in our review of the Surface Go 2, the Go line’s compactness makes it an ideal second-tier tablet for usage on the go or anywhere else in the house. The Surface Go 3 may have a greater chance of replacing your laptop simply because it will run Windows 11, which is more optimized for flexible devices. Microsoft also claims an all-day battery for the Surface Go 3, which was a flaw in its predecessor.

The Surface Go 3 wifi-only model is currently available for presale in a few regions. The LTE version will be available in the following months.
