techno.rentetan.com – The game’s creators hope to educate America’s gamer young about the history of the Civil Rights Movement.
What’s the first thing you’re thinking about the online video game Fortnite? If you have responded to Martin Luther King Jr., a late civil rights activist, then good news for you will be that a recent virtual in-game show is going to pay tribute to the slain leader by exposing the actors of his speeches and the judicial crusade announced on Thursday by Fortnite’s parent company, the Epic Studios.
Fortnite, a game best known as its fight against the violence royalty, has had promotions of artists such as Travis Scott and Ariana Grande, making it a next obvious choice for a feature of the game to be Martin Luther King Jr., the winner of Nobel Peace Prize and famous advocated for violent protest. According to Epic, “The new teleport players in Washington, DC, re-imagined,” built as part of a TIME Studios relationship, may visit the Memorial of Lincoln and the national mall to hear King give his famed 17-minute talk asking for civil rights. The exhibit is a part of a cooperation.
“Experience includes places of interest inspired by museums, and cooperation with other mini-game missions,” says Epic. “These activities advance the experience and give life to Dr. King’s essential topics: we advance if we work together.”
Unless you think that the message and likeness of a man who was really murdered while attempting to negotiate peace was hijacked senselessly by violent war games, know that the King Estate had an active part in shining green light on the tribute. Eric D. Tidwell, Q.A., King Estate Managing Director and Chief Advisor stated that the company was “thrilled” to partner with TIME on the Fortnite project.
“The arrival of new technology seeks to employ all available tools to further disseminate his beautiful legacy of hope, peace, love and equality,” Tidwell said to The Wrap. “Presentation in this interactive style of his most renowned lecture helps us attain this objective.”
Indeed, maybe this will drive the youths of America to get us in a brighter, more equal future, free of senseless bloodshed and nasty prejudices. Or maybe that will only lead to more morons using their avatar Fortnite to floss in the National Mall, and King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ talk will be blackmailed in the backdrop.
