techno.rentetan.com – On 22 July, OnePlus will announce the successor to the cheap OnePlus Nord as Nord 2. The company has already confirmed some details, but there are many rumors about the device for those it does not, indicating what it could offer and how it might match the OnePlus line.
In order to work out which OnePlus unit might be right to you and whether you should wait for the Nord 2, we have updated the confirmed and rumored OnePlus Nord 2 requirements against the OnePlus 9.
- Nord 2: 160 x 73.8 x 8.1mm, plastic?
- 9: 160 x 74.2 x 8.7mm, 192g
It is expected that OnePlus Nord 2 will look quite similar to OnePlus 9. Based upon leaked images of the device, two larger prominent lenses and a smaller flash lens adjacent to the smaller lens have rectangular camera housings on the rear.
The right side is expected to have a slider alert and power button, and the volume rocker on the left. The single front punch hole camera in the top left side of the flat display is expected to be placed and the IP rating will not be official. There is still no leakage of materials, but we suspect a plastic back, if not a plastic framework, is likely.
The OnePlus 9 has a rectangular camera box on the rear, and looks quite like the Nord 2, but the third lens is centrally underneath the other lenses in the rear box, the flash position higher and the Hasselblad branding included. The housing also seems to be somewhat wider than Nord 2.
The alert slider, electric button and volume rocker are all in the same location as the Nord 2, and in the top left of the flat screen there is once again a single punch hole camera. On 9th, although it has a glass rear and a plastic frame, there is no official IP rating.
As far as physical dimensions are concerned, it looks like North 2, though partly narrower and smaller, will almost be the same as OnePlus 9.
- Nord 2: 6.43-inch, Full HD+ (411ppi), 90Hz refresh rate
- 9: 6.55-inch, Full HD+ (402ppi), 120Hz
The OnePlus Nord 2 comes with an AMOLED display of 6.43-inch and a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080, resulting in a 411ppi pixel density.
The OnePlus 9 has a 6.55-inch display, making it a bit bigger than the OnePlus Nord 2’s, although it has been reported that the device has the same footprint. With a pixel density of 402ppi, it comes with full HD+ resolution.
The OnePlus 9 has an actualization rate of 120Hz, whereas OnePlus Nord 2 has a 90Hz. A fingerprint sensor is on display on the OnePlus 9, which is expected to also be provided by Nord 2.
Hardware and specs
- Nord 2: MediaTek Dimensity 1200, 8/12GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, 4500mAh
- 9: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, 8/12GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, 4500mAh
The OnePlus Nord 2, which is said to be similar to the Qualcomm Sneapdragon 870, is based on the MediaTek Dimension 1200 chipset. It is said that up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will support it.
The battery’s capability under the cap is claimed to be 4500mAh and it can be charged quickly, although it is not clear if 30 or 65W would be available.
The OnePlus 9 is supported by up to 12GB RAM and up to 256 GB of storage on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. There is a 4500mAh battery with 65W quick charge support and wireless charge support as well. The latter will not be offered by Nord 2.
- Nord 2: Triple rear (50MP+8MP+2MP), 32MP
- 9: Triple camera (48MP main + 50MP ultra wide + 2MP mono), 16MP front, Hasselblad partnership
The OnePlus Nord 2 has rumored to come out with three-fold back camera, which includes a 50 megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The OnePlus 9 also includes a triple camera, consisting of a 48-megapixel main camera with an aperture of 1,8, an ultra-width f/2.4-width fancy 50-megapixel and a monochrome sensor of 2megapixels. Hasselblad is also included in the tuning.
Nord 2 has a front camera of 32 MP, whereas the 9 has a front camera of 16 MP.
The OnePlus Nord 2 and the OnePlus 9 will share certain similarities based on speculation, including design, RAM and storage options, battery cacaacities and possibly even performance, depending on how the MediaTek Processor is actually compared with the Snapdragon.
With a faster rate of refreshment, OnePlus 9 has a somewhat larger display, and also features wireless charge. The camera department will probably be the one that actually differentiates between these two models.
The OnePlus 9 begins in GBP 629 in the UK, whereas the Nord2 is expected to be less than GBP 400. Naturally, a lot of information still has to be disclosed formally so that things can change.
