The CEO Pete Lau confirmed that OnePlus Nord 2 will start on 22 July

by - – OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed the Company will be disclosed on the 22nd of July 2021 with its next smartphone, OnePlus Nord 2 5G.

To be honest, this is not a huge surprise – for the last few months many rumors about the next mid-ranger have been circulating, including a slip of the name by OnePlus itself in May. This is, however, the first confirmation of a real launch event.

“All of you have anticipated something with you today: OnePlus Nord 2 5G” Lau said in a post on the OnePlus Forum. “I’ll share it today.

“[It] is an extensive upgrade from the first OnePlus North to the newly focused Dimension 1200-AI SoC from camera to performance to charge. We trust it provides the confident OnePlus experience you love quickly and smoothly and lives up to the ethos “Never Settle.””

On the MediaTek processor from the chip manufacturer itself, we first heard official confirmation. OnePlus and this device will have Dimensity 1200-AI SoC exclusively.

There have yet to be no further information, but speculation points to a Full HD+ AMOLED display of 6.43 inches at a refresh rate of 90Hz, up to a RAM 12GB and a stock of 256GB.

The front three-photo and 32-megapixel cam, it’s said, will be available too.
