New Pixel 6 Leak shows the monthly specified before launch

If these leaked specs are accurate, Google seems to be taking a very different approach with the Pixel 6 than it did for the Pixel 5 (pictured above).

But now a recent leak may have just unveiled the information for the forthcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 monthly by the month ahead. The next phone will be announced by Google until this fall.

It is important to note that these leaks come now, before we go into the spectra itself, from Jon Prosser, who had a spotty track record of leaks and predictions as early as last. That means, these new leaks appear to match previous rumors and predictions, so that even though every detail may not be 100% accurate, that leak should give us a decent picture of what Google is currently working on later this autumn.

The Pixel 6 line will be divided into two different models, the standard 6.4-inch pixel (Oriel), and the largeer Pixel 6 Pro, according to a “very reliable source” that talked to Prosser (codenamed Raven).

Pixel 6 standard specs should include:

  • 6.4-inch Samsung-made AMOLED screen
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 128GB or 256GB of storage
  • 8-MP selfie cam
  • 50-MP (primary) and 12-MP (ultra-wide) rear cams
  • 4,614 mAh battery

The Pixel 6 Pro specs should meanwhile include:

  • 6.71-inch LG-made pOLED screen
  • 12GB of RAM
  • 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of RAM
  • 12-MP selfie cam
  • 50-MP (primary), 48-MP (telephoto), and a 12-MP (ultra-wide) rear cams
  • 5,000 mAh battery

In addition, a personalized google chipset should be supplied with both pixel 6 and 6pro, and Wi-Fi 6e and 5G support is provided.

Looking at these leaked specs, there are a few remarkable takeaways. The first is that Pixel 6 and 6 Pro would have the highest battery capacity of all Pixels with a battery capacity of 4,614 mAh and 5,000 mAh. The battery capacity of Pixel 6 and 6 Pro is still far removed. Medium life of the battery.

But in addition to that, apart from Pixel 6’s standard with just two back cams, it once feels like Google doesn’t skimp on hardware for its next Pixel that contrasts markedly with Pixel 5 last year which didn’t try to compete with other high-end Android phones. One thing that I have wanted Google to do for a long time – and I’m sure I’m not the only one – is to focus more on specs and hardware, and it seems that, if these leaks are accurate, they could eventually happen with pixel 6. Google even brings back a dedicated Pixel 6 Pro telephone cam that since Pixel 4 we haven’t seen on a Pixel.

Unfortunately, for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro there is no word about an exact price or release date yet, but Prosser says we should keep an eye out in October for additional information.

In addition, there is another pixel that is rumored to be in the way before the pixel 6 comes out. In a filing with the FCC (via Android Police), this very week, Pixel 5a indicated that we could see a specific release date soon, most probably before Pixel 6 comes out in the autumn.

In addition to some light information about supporting sub-6Ghz 5G, the Pixel 5a spectra do not contain much detail. Earlier rumors suggest that the pixel 5a includes a 6.2-inch OLED screen, two rear cameras, and possibly a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G proceser (including an ultrasize camera).

So far (except Pixel Buds Series-A), Google is relatively quiet about new appliances all over spring and summer, and it is beginning to feel like the company might be preparing for an immense wave of new devices later that autumn, so keep tuned for more information as we get it.
