Here are the possible requirements for Super Follows you have to meet on Twitter

App researcher Jane Manchun Wong told Sunday that the development of Twitter’s Super Follows feature, which he announced back in February, was apparently progressing. Super Follows is, as we have been told so far, essentially a paid subscription to certain other kinds of content – such as extra tweets, badges for supporters and newsletters for subscribers or access to community groups – on individual Twitter feeds.

Accordering on Super Follows, Twitter will only allow users over 18 years old, who have a minimum of 10,000 followers and at least 25 tweets in the last 30 days to use the feature, to share screenshots of supposed new details on Super Follows.

Twitter sells Super Follows as a way for users to do what Wong likes and gain money in one of the message screens for the feature they found. A second display entitled ‘earnings estimator’ suggests that if you manage to convert 2 percent of followers to a price of $4.99 per month users could earn $6,250 a month with Super Follows.

“This is a little extra and earn money for your favorite followers every month,” Twitter said. “They get access, and you get paid for what you create, to a more personal experience with bonus content. This situation is win-win.”

In relation to price, it should be noted that, even if it was around the price $4.99, Twitter has not already confirmed a prices for Super Follow subscriptions. A portion of the revenue generated from this feature is expected from the company. At the end of the day, it is unknown whether Twitter would be and how much that cut would be.

Interestingly, it is obviously not sufficient to fulfill the above criteria. Wong also found that Twitter would want users to complete an app. The application calls upon users to identify their category of content, other platforms and demographic information. Twitter included ‘content for adults’ and ‘only fans’ as categories of content, which is notable given the lack of commitment from the social media platform to allow Super Follows for content for several months.

The app also asks users to explain how to use Super Follows. Wong’s research notes that within 10 days, Twitter is intended to review the information and contact the applicants.

Twitter said that on Sunday, it didn’t have any comment on Wong’s research.

While the research by Wong shows an interesting picture of the Super Follows development, it’s important to note that we don’t know what or when it will be launched. Wong has a good record of finding functionality, but it is the call to Twitter, at the end of the day. Perhaps sooner rather than later we will find out.
