HarmonyOS 2 comes to 100 older, Mate 40, P40 and Nova 8 series telephones

techno.rentetan.com – HarmonyOS is happening in Huawei’s so-called ‘Plan B.’ It has already been launched on tablets and smartwatches and is now ready to be launched on smart phones.

Huawei also announces that its software will also be available as an update for a number of older EMui phones, even though it is certainly the software that will work on any new smartphone this year.

Actually, the firm has announced that the software will be updated by more than 100 Huawei devices in the coming year. The Mate 40 and Mate 30 series as well as the P40 series and Nova 8 are included in that list.

There is a large list of devices to receive software, including phones such as Mate 9, Mate 10, P10 and P20, and many others.

The newest phones are going to get it first, of course. Huawei stated that the Mate 40, P40 and Mate 30 will originally be available, and that further phones will be available later this year. As for older devices, in the first half of 2022 they will probably receive it.

The manufacturer praised HarmonyOS in its announcement that it could make your phone feel as fast and responsive as if it were new for up to 36 months thanks to a new read/write memory management system.

It also indicated the longer battery life of HarmonyOS, using the Mate 40 Pro as an example, and that a 5.1 hour straight game called ‘Game for Peace’ might be played.

HarmonyOS is the great play of Huawei in the development of a tight device ecosystem. It was built to provide easy connectivity among your Huawei mobile phone, tablet, laptop, speakers, headphones and even refrigerator, without the need for additional applications or logins.

It also has redesigned widgets that provide you with snippets of relevant information – similar to iOS 14 – as well as faster access to telephone functional and app controls.

The single drawback: The press release of Huawei only refers to devices in China for the time being and does not specify when the roll-out is going to go into Britain and Europe.

We have reached Huawei to comment when we can expect it here and exactly what the process is going to be updated. If we hear from the manufacturer, we’ll update this post to reflect that.
