Apple updates iOS 14.6 with subscriptions for Apple Podgasts and more

by - – The iOS 14.6 and iPadoS 14.6 have been rolled by Apple to the public. In Settings app on your iPhone or iPad you can now check for these software updates.

The update 14.6 is not quite as large as the update 14.5 – but there are still several main characteristics such as subscriptions for Apple Podcasts. This enables podcast creators to collect their hearers’ subscription fees. As a subscriber, it also means that you can pay for unlocking ad-free bonus content and early access. NPR, Sony Music Entertainment, the Los Angeles Times, Wondery, and others are all planning on premium podcast content.

These are both expected to come in June and are now supported by Apple Music.

The update to Apple’s iOS 14.6 includes several additional improvements in particular. The option to add an email address as a contact method for AirTag owners when the item tracker gets lost includes iOS 14.6. Apple Card Family is also shared with up to 5 people. Support.

iOS 14.6 will be launched one month after iOS 14.5, an update that will unlock the iPhone Apple Watch, crowdsource the Apple Maps accident and more. You can free download both the iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 updates through the air. Go simply to Settings > General > Update software.
