Windows 10 Ultimately Get Better AirPod support
Image: Microsoft (Other) – Microsoft’s major major Windows 10 overhaul art finally includes some major Bluetooth support modifications and audio terminals. The newest Windows 10 Insider preview has now changed, reports The Verge.

The bigger of the two amendments involves adding Bluetooth support for AAC. Currently only SBC and Aptx are compatible with Windows via Bluetooth, and anybody knowing AAC is the default compression codec of those devices with a pair of headphones.

It is the most popular consumer audio format in a compressed, loss-free format for generating small file size. Many also believe that AAC makes music a bit better because it’s a great codec to stream music.

Microsoft also cleans the way audio endpoints are displayed. Windows 10 will now unite them into one audio endpoint, not to look at the same audio device listed in multiple different ways. It shows me four playback devices on my PC, even if I’m connected to the 3.5 mm jack with a single pair of headphones.

However, with this update, only one audio endpoint will be displayed in the volume dropdown, and if you view a YouTube video and take a call by teams, for example, Windows 10 will automatically move to a different audio output.
