More than one iPhone exists, and some models need different actions to rapidly save a picture of what is visible on your display. The iPad’s the same. You may have no idea how to take a screenshot if you have owned an iPhone 7 for years and have recently been upgraded to a 12 mini iPhone.

How to shoot your iPhone

To take a screenshot of iPhone models with Face ID: Press the Side and Volume button simultaneously and then release both buttons quickly.

Touch ID and a Side button iPhone models

Which screenshots to find
Open the Photos application on your iPhone or iPad, go to Albums > Screenshots and find all your images.

How to save your iPhone or iPad
First, add your Control Centre’s screen recording option: Settings > Screen recording control center > Tap “+” Then, wipe it down from the top-right corner of the screen to the Control Centre, on an iPhone X or later or on an iPad running iOS 12 or later or iPadOS. (The owners of the old device can swipe up any screen from the bottom).

Follow the following steps now:

Press the Record (red circle) button for long and tap Microphone.
Tap Start Recording and wait until the countdown is done.
To stop recording, open the Control Center and tap the Red Circle button. Or, at the top of your screen, tap the red status bar and tap Stop.
